Who initiated this noble cause?
As Dalai Lama quoted “With realization of one’s own potential and self-confidence in one’s ability, one can build a better world”

Our founder Jigneshbhai Shah also had such moment of realization when he once visited Mother Teresa Institute located at Ranip, Ahmedabad.

During this visit he came to know that there were about 150 needy people who were in fight with life and in order to survive all they needed was Rs. 2,00,000/- Mother Teresa Institute was unable to garner the required amount as there were limited donors. On other end there was temple with religious gathering Mahudi (A holy shrine for Jains) where people visited and donated as much as Rs. 2,00,00,000/- It was this moment of shock where Jigneshbhai realized that people in need were unable to gather even small part of amount donated at such social gathering. Jigneshbhai identified his potential and decided to be part of greater deed and help the needy by allocating more time for social good.

Without any delay he talked to his friends and relatives about the incident he faced and the effect that it had on his mind and soul. The response he received from his friends and relatives was shocking and surprising as some of them happily agreed to support such noble cause.

Their priority was to influence wider group of people so they started with dropping E-mails and SMS’s to the people who had similar thoughts towards social good. During this process they found few donors’ and people who wish to donate but had time constraint. Since then came the name “ACT OF KINDNESS” into existence.

Now we are a NGO managed by group of successful businessman and professionals who believe in helping people in need.
